Hi, we planned eventually to move to Fort Lauderdale.

We appreciate Las Olas. But could you tell me please if there are other nice neighborhoods with restaurants and shops ? May be Las Olas is not the only one ... Thanks a lot. Marc.

I found Wilton Manors interesting in that while it's not exactly Key West, there seemed to be a small scale of shops & restaurants that was almost village-like despite all of the concrete.

Flagler Village is rapidly developing, there are already a few good restaurants there, and more are coming, along with more residential units.

Coral Ridge, along Bayview, is a very nice neighborhood with quick access to shops and restaurants on Sunrise Blvd, Commercial Blvd, and Oakland Park Blvd, as well as Federal Highway.

North Beach Village has been transformed into a very nice neighborhood one block away from the beach (Breakers Avenue around Terramar St)
