We are looking at a rental home in River Oaks on SW19th street while attending the YMCA National swim meet.

Is this a safe neighborhood?

Thank you for your advice,
Vickie

Smile River Oaks

I would say yes. Looks like most of the homes in River Oaks were bought in 2006-2007 anywhere from $590K to $850K. Most likely on the water.

Thank you for the quick response. Of course safe is a relative term, coming from the Philadelpha suburbs it sounds like this house should be fine.
It looks like it is about a block over from the waterfront homes.

I have been owner resident in River oaks, since 1998 and i can tell that the neighborhood is very safe and quite. Sometimes I stay home working in my PC till late night and before going to bed, I go out to my front yard to keep an eye to check is everything is ok and I can see that police is patrolling as usual , so that give me a feeling of security and safe.
