That's a little far from the port.

Blue Moon Fish Company is great, great scenery too with people driving their yachts to lunch and parking them in the back.

Sun Fish in Pompano is very good too.

The garlic crabs at Rustic Inn in Dania have made me sick not once, but twice. I'm devastated too as I really loved this place and I really love the garlic crabs!!! Ahhh!

That is a shame. That is a great place...

I have to agree that the Casablanca is a great option, for the atmosphere and the food. A cab ride from your hotel should be reasonable. Bimini Boatyard is pretty mediocre food, IMO.

The restaurant at Hyatt Pier 66 is really nice and the seafood I tried there was a treat - expensive, but a nice night out and great ambiance.

I'm not a fan of 15th street fisheries either ($$). I take guests to Bimini Boatyard. It's on a waterway and right off 17th street. Also, Bravo's has good fish specials but no views. We go to Southport when we want the best chowder and a beer. Have a margarita at Carlos & Pepe's with tuna dip and then walked down to Bimini Boatyard.

Kelly's Landing on Cordova Road, right next to Southport Raw Bar.

Unless you are going just for the oysters, Southport Raw Bar is just what the name says. The non "Raw Bar" food is mediocre.

If you have someone in your party that doesn't like Seafood, try the Quarterdeck across from Southport Raw Bar.

You can get some nice seafood among other things at Anthony's Runway 84. It is an Italian restaurant. Very good. It is right on the Marina Mile (SR84), East of I-95.

I have been to Rustic Inn a few times and have been eying up the garlic crab since i've never had it! You have me worried now about that. Do you have any seafood allergies? Legal Seafood by Sawgrass mills mall is great, but is a good 20 miles from the port. That is one of my favorite seafood places.

No seafood allergies. I may have to try them again. They are SOOOOO good, it's almost worth taking the gamble!
