i am not getting responses to my posts so i think people are just burned out by my changing plans and detailed questions...

i will seek out a new forum in which to ask these questions..this just seemed like the best

thanks for all your help

nj

p.s. i know it can take alot of views to get responses but it WAS suggested by 2 people that i might not be getting responses because people are burned out with me and i am thinking they might be right so i apologize and will seek another relocation forum...sorry my circumstances change so much but it is what is and my family says one thing, i.e they want me close by and then the next day, my sister tells me being close by is not such a great idea due to the drama and then changes...and then i find out the only dr who can treat me is an hour away from where i was looking so...it's a complicated move and sorry to have bothered anyone with it.

Nankjay, try doing a search on this forum. This is what I do on another one instead of just getting one or two responses for my questions. Just in case you didn't know, you can give reputation points to members who help you out.

Is there any way to rent for about a year to check out the area? It seems like a long time but it is worth it IMO. You can go around and pick out neighborhoods you like. I think if you are going to rely on public transportation, you need to see how things are down here IRL.

PS: I noticed that the forum has been very quiet lately.

oh we will be renting indefinitely..we will never have the money to buy property..esp without the zero down loans...the reason the area is so important is because i need to be close to family for ongoing medical help

i am coming down in oct to look at neighborhoods..oh we can't even touch a house in az which is less expensive... unfortunately, i will be a renter indefinitely because we will never be able to save money to buy a home..all our money goes to my medical bills and will continue to so we won't ever be able to save towards a home..but i sure wish we could..

also...not that moving is fun for anyone but it takes every last bit out of me so i'd like to find a rental we can be in for atleast a few year to come.

I know public transp are horrible down there....i am giving up pretty much everything i have in az to be closer to family who is unsure of how much they will be able to help me in the first place so i am gambling/

One of the issues you are having is that your posts are nonsense. You post:

"some areas looking into:

coral springs
margate
coconut creek
pompano beach
delray beach"

Then in the same post you say:

"Oh..neighborhood must be south of sunrise and heading towards lake worth/wpb area so davie, weston, etc are out."

None of this makes sense. All of the neighborhoods you mention are north of sunrise. Davie and Weston ARE south of sunrise. So although I have read your posts I do not answer them because they make no sense.

Momma bear,

To be fair to OP, she very likely just made a mistake, typing south instead of north. She has also shared that she has cognitive issues, so that may be at play too.

My feeling is that the same questions have been asked and answered to the best of all of our ability and yet Nan still feels she hasnt gotten her answer. So, put me with the crowd who's out of answers.

thank you fauve...yes..i do have cognitive issues and that was a typo mistake

momma bear..life is too short to be a total bit%% to someone. So..I cannot type what i'd like to to you on a public forum!!!!!!!!!!

also....this post was different in that i did say i am now looking into different areas and wanted to know more about them.

Momma bear hope you never have a brain injury or neurological illness that takes you from doing freelace writing to not being able to make sense when you write.

Thx again fauve for sticking up for me!!!!!! Still..that comment from MB was uncalled for and i hope not a sense of what people in florida are like.

I did not mean to be nasty. I am sorry if you took my post that way. I will try to put it another way......

I think the reason that you are having trouble getting answers to your questions is that people are having trouble figuring out what you really want to know. You may have MEANT to type north instead of south but how would anyone know that?

Nanjay,

For me, it has been difficult helping you out because you have many requirements, e.g. young childless couples, live music, beach access, family access, nice area. When you start venturing out west, you lose some of these amenities. It is the suburbs out there.

Some of those cities you mentioned (Coral Springs, Margate, Coconut Creek) are nice enough cities for some people. They were not mentioned before because they don't exactly fit your requirements. I think Delray Beach is the best fit for you. You have the beach on the east and then a national wildlife reserve on the west.

You can get many opinions here but you have to make a decision on what is too far from your family. It is just better to come and see IRL.

Since you are renting, you have the option of changing locations when your needs change and I am sure they will after you arrive.

Good luck.
