small units - nice outdoor areas, pool is always overcrowded - but grassy areas are nice. Very animal friendly which is nice - nice mix of neighbors who seem friendly- HORRIBLE maintenance team, plenty of parking. It's gated which is nice - but there were some weirdos fishing in our pond that has a sign that says no fishing...... frustrating - but the gate keeps *most* of the weirdos out

I think overall it is an alright place to live. All apartments have some problems. It is very buggy right now - but my biggest complaint is the maintenance people never fix what I ask them to fix. I still don't have a screen in my bedroom. But the units are pretty nice - the appliances work well. It is a pretty quiet neighborhood which is nice. good luck with your decision

My only real hesitancy with deciding whether or not to rent, is the schools that are zoned for this address. I don't think the schools are that great. My dtr would have to go to McNab Elem. in Pompano Beach until 5 th grade(she's going to 4th grade now) and then to the middle school near Hammondville Rd(I forgot the name). I figured I would be moved out of that area by the time she goes to high school which would be Northeast. I don't know much about any of these schools so I will try not to judge them before having more info.

McNab is a very good school in a very nice area. The middle schools in Pompano are not on Hammondville (which is a very rough area). Pompano Middle is alright I've heard if you're in the magnet program (Gem program or something) but its somewhat of a rough school and the area is mix with nice homes east but there are a couple shady duplexes surrounding it and west of dixie is a bad neighborhood. I would go private because most middle schools in east Broward aren't up to par, especially if your kid isn't in a magnet program. Northeast is alright I know kids who went there and they seem to like it......the area from what I've seen is alittle seedy but that may be a bad impression.... I would go private for high school or go to Pompano High which is all magnet and actually one of the top public high schools in the state.
