Hello all,

I live in the East Greenwich, RI area. My husband just got a job offer in Miami, Fla which would begin in July 2010. We are looking to move to the Ft . Lauderdale area along with our almost 5 yr old child who will be entering kindergarten this Fall. We own two homes in RI so we are looking to rent a home before we buy right away. Our number one goal is our child so we would love to reside within an area that has a good school system for our son.
Can anyone suggest some nice areas please??

I greatly appreciate any suggestions. Thx!!!

Where in Miami is your husband going to be working ?

I think this would help us guide you to the right area in Broward to live....

My husband will be traveling throughout Miami but his home office will be located on Sunset Drive, Miami 33173. The company suggests that we reside within the Ft. Lauderdale area.

Interesting to hear that the company recommends to live in Broward County.

Since you will be commuting via I-75, I suggest Pembroke Pines or Weston. Pembroke Pines is closer to work but Weston has better schools and more kid friendly.

I would look at Pinecrest, Coral Gables or Palmetto in Dade County. That could be a very unpleasant commute.

Which part you didn't understand? I thought my reply was self explanatory, if you can read maps.

There is no reason to be rude.

Sorry, if I offended you. I was not being sarcastic. Instead, I didn't understand which part you needed me to elaborate.
