Yup. Cape Coral is ranked #8 in the nation for best retirement places. Low serious crime is cited as one of the "Pros" of Cape Coral. I give it 2 weeks before someone on this forum repeats (yet again) the false myth that Cape Coral has a high crime rate (despite it having a much lower than average crime rate.)

Not exactly ranked #8, just listed #8 due to the alphabetical order that they listed those cities. I do wish that the "walkability" of CC was higher than "15". Unfortunately the city has not included enough sidewalks within its master plan, which would make this city more agreeable to walk around.

How agreeable is it to walk around when it's 95 degrees with high humidity? Although during our beautiful winter weather it would be nice if there were more sidewalks & bike paths.

So basically you agree we need more sidewalks and less useless improvements.

I would rather walk around on a golf course or on a waterfront boardwalk. Who need sidewalks? There are so may dead end streets with no traffic with all the canals, you can just walk or bike in the street.
