I dont live in Ft Myers, but on the occasion when I DO go there, that is the general area worth going to. Bell Tower shops, cinemas, nice eateries, like Mimi's. One of the safest, cleanest areas of FM, IMHO.

I moved here 5 weeks ago and live in that general vicinity - college pkwy, winkler, cypress lake dr. I love it. Have not experienced any safety issues, (I came from Baltimore City) everyone is so nice here.
I am not familiar with the specific complex your asking about but I would not move any farther north, I like the quick access to the beach

Yes, that is a good area. It is close to everything and the beach is about 20 min. away out of season and in season if you get up before the tourists.. it is still a 20 min. ride. There is alot of traffic on 41 but that is to be expected in that area. The airport is about 1/2 hour away.
Good luck and let us know how you like it.
