After we move into our N. Naples condo, I'd like to hit the beach running (it's been a tough winter in NJ). Vanderbilt Beach is a 4.8 mile drive. Is it a nice beach (looks nice from the pictures)? How is the parking? What kind of parking sticker should I obtain?? Any other beach suggestions?

Somehow I lost part of my post.
Just want to add that Vanderbilt Beach is very nice. Barefoot Beach is my favorite in North Collier and is only 5 minutes from Vanderbilt Beach. I thought I'd mention it because a lot of people think it's in Lee County because it has a Bonita Springs address.

I've been to this beach several times Vanderbilt I'm speaking of and I love it! Very clean and plenty of room to spread out. I never had a beach pass as I just parked in the little lot close to the nature reserve area of Vandy. So don't know about the parking pass, but I know you can't pass this strectch of beach.

Just want to add that Vanderbilt Beach is very nice. Barefoot Beach is my favorite in North Collier and is only 5 minutes from Vanderbilt Beach. I thought I'd mention it because a lot of people think it's in Lee County because it has a Bonita Springs address.
