I am needing to host a small meeting 12 people in the evening. Most restaurants will not accommodate a small number for a private meeting room. I've looked into Hotels and they are very $$. I would like to serve food and wine. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Norris Conference Centers in Sundance Square (next to Reata) has several different size meeting rooms Norris Conference Centers - Fort Worth - Meeting Facilities You might also consider "35th floor" (in the basement but it looks like you are on the 35th floor of the old location) or The Dome on the roof at Reata. Welcome to Reata Restaurants

How about renting the clubhouse at some very nice apartment complex?

I entertained at the Blue Mesa in Ft. Worth and they gave us their party room at no extra cost. We had about 30 people.

Blue Mesa and the Reata both have smaller private rooms that could accomodate your 12-person meeting.

What about Panera? Some are large enough and have a separate room that you can reserve. What about a library?

Question Additional question????

Do apartment complexes rent their clubhouses? What would be the nicest one close to downtown?

I do like Reatta but their prices are unbelievable $$$ for a group function.

It would be nice to use my dinning room but I live in Colleyville & my group meets in FW-

I don't mind paying for wine & food - at a reasonable price

then go for some smaller--not so prestigious--restaurants
the Spring Creek BBQ restaurant in Bedford has a large dining area that can be closed off with doors for private parties--
lots of the coaches' assoc and some church groups use it fairly often--
people just go through the buffet line and get what they want and sit there for their meetings

not too "swank" but their rolls are awesome
