I moved to Texas in 2004 from Pennsylvania and to North Richland Hills in 2007. I have read in other posts that there seems to be alot of us Yankee's living in or near this city. Also, I've read about people trying to find food that's more like home. Well, I have stumbled upon the greatest place in Texas, Especially if your from PA or NJ. It's called Billadelphia's. They make authentic cheesesteaks, they have all their meat, rolls, & chips (HERRS) shipped from Philly, oh, and maybe the best part....BIRCH BEER on tap!!!!!!!!!!!

They opened a new location in NRH at 7601 Mid Cities Blvd, in the Shell station at Holiday & Mid Cities.

They have 2 other locations, one in Bedford and one in West Fort Worth.

I don't work for them or anything, but as a fellow yankee, I wanted to spread the word. I'm about as excited as when I saw that the stores were carrying Mrs. T's perogies!!

Hey! You made my day with this. I love Philly cheesesteaks! It is truly one of Philly's finest gifts to mankind. Thanks a lot.

New Yorker Pizza in Arlington is the best I have found so far. I was introduced to it by a good friend from Rockland County (NY) who beat me here to TX by ten years (Better late than never), but the pizza? I think it's pretty good! New Yorker Pizza, Arlington, TX : Reviews and maps - Yahoo! Local

Bayhale~
We go to Joe's Pizza on Denton Hwy in Watauga. EXCELLENT food, imo! The owners are NYers via Albania. Very nice. Haven't been disappointed yet :-). My husband is a NYer, and when he can sing it's praises, than it's good!
