Trying to find the payscale of Districts / Ind. schools that also have a good Special Education department. Also ones that are open to hiring first year teachers. Thank you.
Because of the commute, not especially open to driving to Dallas.

You should be able to find salary schedules on almost every single district website. Most are open to hiring first year teachers where there is a need, and the best way to find that is to go in person and get face to face meetings.

IF that first year teacher has a college degree in education
not an alternative certification degree...
you have to teach a year before you are truly certified with an alt degree and districts won't hire you because they can't count you as certified and that hurts their state rating...
they won't even let you apply/attend a district hiring fair...
