we are looking to relocate to texas...one problem....We dont know where. We would love a house in the 350,000 price range, newer home. We have a child so good school systems. Also, we are not big fans of living smack in the middle of the city...but we also dont like secluded areas. Somewhere in the middle would be great! Please help us, any suggestions would be very apprecitated!! We have thought of Round rock, near austin or Mckinney by dallas (iam assuming)....we are open to any town, just those are the only ones we have gotten feedback on. Thanks a million!

$350,000? Wow, are you looking to buy a mansion? McKinney is a northern suburb of Dallas, a very fast growing one. Lots of transplants in the northern suburbs. Allen is next door to McKinney. They may be what you're looking for.

Default Check out Lantana (Argyle 76226)

Check out Lantana, TX 76226 It has the best of everything.

Lantana Texas :: Homepage

My wife and I have lived in Lantana for about 2 1/2 years now and we love it. We have a 8 year old daughter with one on the way. Our house is about 450K and backs up to the golf course. You can find anything from 150K to 2 million. 20 minutes north of DFW Airport. Absolutely no disappointments.

When we moved here, we just drove around a lot of different areas. We had specific requirements for travel, so we just used that specific adjustment to search out neighborhoods in that area.

I think that you will pretty much find whatever you are looking for at that price. I assume that you have a particular real estate website that you are looking at.

Some areas just to throw them out without much more info but with good schools - Southlake, Colleyville, Grapevine, Hurst, North Richland Hills, Keller, portions of Fort Worth. Those all have a lot of convenience around them with some more treed areas that might work for you with good schools.

I 2nd the vote for Lantana!! We've been here since 2004 and haven't regretted being here at all.

Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control our house is for sale and we might be moving out of the area. So, if you're looking for a great house....

We're in the 76226 area code which is the same as Argyle, southern Denton county. It's west of Highland Village, north of Flower Mound off of FM 407/Justin Road.
