Where will you be working? The DFW metro is huge, so you want something with a reasonable commute. There are extended stay hotels in the area that are surprisingly affordable. The apartment complex I live in offers shot term leases of furnished units, but its over on the east side of Dallas county.

There is an extended stay hotel that is about 150 a week that is in the Fossil Creek area north of 820 that looks fine. It would be reasonable distance to downtown Fort Worth. Do you have a particular area that you will be working at?

Look at budgetsuites.com online as they seem to be the most reasonable for a good clean modest extended stay hotel with many locations around the area.

You might also check on craigslist.com in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
