Got a ticket for TCU v Texas Tech (or Texas Tech @ TCU as you Americans have it :P).

Got a few questions as I've not been to a college football game (or an American football game outside of Wembley come to think of it!)..:

- The kick off time is still tba - how far in advance do they normally set it?
- I've got tickets in the South End Zone - anyone know if these are decent seats?
- Is there much to do around the stadium?
- Do they serve alcohol inside the stadium?

Thanks in advance for any answers

It's a small stadium. There really isn't a bad seat.
Alcohol sales are prohibited on TCU campus.

Kick off times are announced about a week prior to the game....has to do with the television schedules basically.

Frog Alley is fun before the game and is right in front of the stadium. If you'd like some restaurant suggestions instead I can give those as well. We're going to Saturday's game so I'll be able to post details after that. The people watching is pretty entertaining. You'll see people tail gating and probably some male students painted purple. You'll probably see some blonde coeds with their hair done wearing skirts and heels. I could never climb the stands in heels so I was always impressed.

Piggy backing on Brand_new's post...

Does anyone know if they still have kids run onto the field before the game? My kids want to do it but I don't know anything about how it works. Could someone clue me in?

I believe they do. I haven't been to a game since Dalton was there...
