I used to live at 1612 N. Beach St. in Fort Worth.

The little house is probably not even there any more. But if it is, and you happen to be driving by and have a camera I would LOVE to ave a picture of it!

I am writing my family history and am trying to get photos of every place I have ever lived to include in the story.

Hope the house is still there and someone can help me. thanks

I may have jury duty in downtown Fort Worth in the next 10 days. I go right by that area on my way to downtown. If I do, I'll detour and take a photograph. Can't promise anything, because I may or may not have jury duty, but I'll definitely give it a try.

See if this link works.

I went to the Tarrant County Appraisal districts website at www.tad.org and under property search put in the address. You can also see who the 3 prior owners were. It is zoned commercial now. This may not be the right property as the address is 1612 N. Beach St, Haltom City. But??? The mailing address is 1612 N. Beach St, Ft Worth??? So it could be.

Great info momof2. I think that it's FW by looking at the map, but Haltom City is definitely a possibility - it's very close. I got these pictures off microsoft live website (birdseye view). Does this look like the area?

Default thanks for the help!

Yes, the tax info is the correct property, as when I lived there (way back when, in 1969) it was owned by Christine Barkley. I just do not recognize is by the aerial photos, but the house was actually in Haltom City, although I think that Beach St was perhaps the dividing street between Haltom City and Fort Worth.

I do know it was a little house, 1 bedroom, and only a small yard.

It has really been a LONG time!!

thanks a lot for the replies
