I recently got a job offer in both Weatherford and Tyler but we are leaning more towards the Weatherford area. Ive visited there before and got to know the town pretty well and really liked it. I have two main questions. The first question is, I want to live somewhere that will not be overly crouded like the northern suburbs in the next 15 years, i know its hard to predict that but do you think the Weatherford area will end up like that? My next question was requested by my wife lol and she wants to know what the weather is like there, were moving from Minnesota, were aware that the summers are fairly hot but what she really wanted to know was does the area receive a lot of tornadoes, hail, or orther severe weather versus other parts of the metroplex?
Any help would be great, thanks?

In my opinion, Weatherford will continue to grow. Alot.

I doubt the weather there is any worse that other areas of DFW. But be aware that is does get very hot in the summer, there are tornadoes and hail in the spring.

But really, what are you going to do if a tornado hits your house? What can you do? Nothing but ride it out. Hail dents cars and tears up trees. What can you do about it? Nothing but ride it out. If your ticket is going to get punched by a tornado there's just not a whole lot you can do about it. Take precautions - go to an interior room, etc., and hope for the best. And it's not like we have tornadoes daily. I'd bet there aren't but three or four that have done any damage (in the metroplex) in the last 40 years.
