I buy clothes at a second hand store on "dollar days" Thursdays. Other days of the week the exact same clothes are all $3.00-$10.00 a piece. On Thursdays they are all $1.00. They are the same clothes. Often they are "name brand" clothes that sell in stores for $40-$50.00 a piece.

I think it's generally true but not always. There's certain cheap products that are reliablea nd a great bargain there's also some higher priced items taht are total crap.

I think price is almost a marketing strategy. If something is too cheap you tend to think it must be crap so oftentimes they sell crap for a little more than they otherwise would so you think it's decent. I bought the mighty wand from the infomercials that fake powerwasher thing. the thing is terrible and cost me $20
