Yes, we've been using a digital antenna -- and had to try several before we found the right one. It sounds like an outside antenna may be better, if you can do it. They even make one for the attic so it doesn't have to be on the roof! We just put one on the roof, though, and it works well. I think it cost about $60.

We get a clear picture for about 8 channels. My uncle says freezing happens when the signal is not strong enough! Give it a try. We found more info about antennas and channel at 10channel.com

I have Roku, and I like it. However, the local internet sucks. So, we may have to go back to cable internet
