I love the jacket.

On ebay you can buy a postal scale for 10 bucks, brand new.

But if this is a one time thing, I would do like another poster suggested and take it to the post office, weigh it and find the cheapest method.

Default Cost to ship Men's Wood overcoat regular size

Hi, my fist time to mail clothing. What would be the most economical way to ship a Men's Overcoat Wool, regular size? Thanks.

flat rate LEGAL SIZE envelope if it fits. Under $8. May have to order these from the Post office, i believe they come in a pack of 8. Takes a week to get it though and our post office never has them available.

Might fit in a padded priority size envelope for $9

UPS usually has better rates than the flat rate med size box you'd normally use. If the buyer lives within your state, always know it is MUCH cheaper so use USPS

Fed Ex is pretty cheap too, I just sent a heavy package and Fedex beat both USPS and UPS.

A men's wool overcoat in a PM envelope? Are you kidding? I doubt it very much. Maybe a PM Large box. The important thing is to know what shipping will cost, BEFORE you list on ebay.

Best way to ship bulky items that can be shipped in a poly bag is using Pirateship.com and using their USPS priority cubic rate.
