Our 12 month rates with U-verse just ended and our bill went up by about 40%, too much for what we are getting. I called them back and was unimpressed by the 'deals' they offered so it's time to look at alternatives.

We are in Sacramento and can get about 30 locals with a Leaf 50, but that leaves us without cable channels which we watch a good deal of, history, syfy, hgtv etc. I looked at the sling program but they don't offer some of the channels we watch so I'm wondering if any of you heard of Playstation Vue, apparently it works with Amazon Fire TV and chromecast. The cheapest package @$29.99 offers every cable channel we currently watch.

So I'm wondering if any of you have used it and what your experience with it is, and what is the best way to hook up a DVR that will work in two rooms (or do we need two DVR's)?

Thanks in advance!

Yup, extremely reliable and easy to use. My mother in law use it and beat cables hands down.

Thanks! Does she use it with a playstation or with Fire TV? I have no other use for a playstation so I was thinking about getting an Amazon Fire TV device if I go with this.
