This is a plastic core from one of those lint rollers. My daughter has four of them. It's about 6", appears to be sturdy and well made, and has a loop at on end. Can anyone suggest a good use for something like this? It just looks like it would be really handy for something, but I'm stumped.

So far, all I can imagine is coating it with peanut butter and bird seed and hanging it from a tree as a bird feeder. But I'll bet you guys can come up with something better than that.

You could put tape on it (sticky side out) and re use it as it was ment as...the other thought I had (from just looking at the picture) was a bird feeder also....

I'll keep thinking.....

If you've got any kids around, they would love to use those as paint rollers in their artwork.

You could take one of those and a empty gift paper wrapping roll. Put the end of the gift paper wrapping roll onto the end of the empty lint roll. This would be a good Star War light saber. You could save them up and if you have kids have a project at a birthday party. They could all paint their gift paper roll a color they want (you could get neon paints) then make their own light saber. Kids would think it is really cool.

Electrify them with a lamp fixture, then make Japanese Lanterns out of them, they already have a hook to hang them from.

I suppose if you were into knitting you could always use them to organize your loose yarn.

You could also use them for kite string.
