Found this volunteer in the front yard. Appears to like growing in the shade. It's shaded by the house and is growing up through a very large daisy. Short plant but sends up flower stems almost 4'. Flower is about 3" across. Look familiar to anyone?

Could be an anemone? They self seed profusely and send up very long thin stalks that sway in the wind. Likes some shade.

Thanks, I think you might have nailed it. Although I can't find a photo online of one exactly like this one there are quite a few that are pretty darn close.
