Hey everyone,
In my community a lot of the houses are separated by rock patches. I dont like mine. Ive seen some people fill it up with trees and plants and other things so you dont see a lot of the of the fence and house in the "alley." I do like that. I am including pictures of the situation. I am recruiting anyone who is willing to supply there ideas on what i could do in this space.
What, i think, i want is a blue spruce (probably the smaller varieties due to space constrictions) and/or aspens, some dwarf conifers of some kind for the forward part (such as juniper or spruce), maybe some decorative fountain like grasses, maybe some contrasting shrubs/bushes (sand cherry). I would love some thing in there that flowers...butterfly bush, potato, hydrangea, or anything really. I think a screen of euonymus manhattan would be neat (maybe).
I live in denver, this area is on the east side of the house so it would be partly blocked from the late day sun. Im am willing to baby any plant in there, as i already do that elsewhere in my landscape.
Im including pictures. i was hoping you would photo-shop or roughly draw in what you think would look good and what placement would suit the space.
