We seem to have small frogs/toads that have taken up residence in the worm composter. No idea how they are getting in there.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

You might try composting vegetable matter instead.

That is what we compost. The worms eat the vegetable matter and other foods and then produce worm poo which is a great fertilizer. I am mainly concerned whether the frogs are harmful to the worms.

My post was an attempt at humor.

With that said is the composter still composting? If yes, don't worry.

We have a black plastic composter that invites mini frogs. I think they like the warmth.

Sorry - can't contribute to OP's question as have never done worm composting.
