I am in a market for new gas Lawn Mower, could you suggest one. My 1/4 acre yard is not flat (some bumpy terrain) so should I go for high rear wheel drive with self propelled mower.
Which one is better of these,
1) Husqvarna (190 cc, 22 in)
2) Toro 22 in. Variable Speed Gas Mower
3) Craftsman with Briggs & Stratton engine

Rather than buy a more expensive mower, why don't you correct the issues with your bumpy lawn?
You're still going to have cut quality problems (like scalping) until you do. Now's a good time to begin top dressing and filling in bad divots and get it so you can use anything.

Seeding may not even be necessary depending on what type of grass.
By the way, I like husqys for their orange color. I try to make sure all my garden tools are color coordinated.
I would not suggest self propelled. The wheels just spin and do nothing. We have 2 self propelled mowers and we never bother to engage the drive.
I woudl suggest mowers with large rear wheels.
Otherwise, I do not think it makes much difference. Like someone said, just get the one you like the color. They all do the same thing about equally as well.

I would not want to try to push my self-propelled mower around my yard with a grass catcher attached to it and the self-propelled mechanism disengaged. Self-propelled makes the job somewhat easier.
If one's self-propelled mechanism is not working very effectively, I would suggest checking out the belt and replacing the belt if worn.
I am NOT a fan of the Toro Personal Pace self propelled mowers. To make them go, you have to constantly exert a small amount of force on the handle bar. The harder you push, the faster the mover goes. After a while, the lower portion of your back hurts like hell from the constant pressure.
I'd go for a similar quality Snapper which pulls you along by a thumb actuated drive mechanism. Easier on the body, IMHO.
Both are reasonable quality. Never had a problem with traction from a self propelled unit.
My wife saw that Snapper at Costco and wants me to buy one for 300 Bucks. I'll have to check it out.
