Hi! While I try to figure out how to afford a zillion bulbs, (and how to plant them all) I have a question about bloom times.

What months/weeks are early, mid and late spring? I want a nice spread throughout the season (even created an excel sheet to help figure it out. Yes, I'm nuts!)

I'd say "early" is when the crocus start to come up and bloom, mid is when the tulips and daffodils do their thing and late is when you'd start to see day lily and iris foliage start to make an appearance.

If I remember correctly from when I still lived in NYC, the crocus started to show in late February/early March and we almost always had tulips and daffodils late March into mid-April.

Thanks, that's what I thought, but it's been a while, and 3 apartments since I've grown bulbs.
