Do you plan to cure your bamboo with heat using propane?

Are you aware that you can't heat cure bamboo without it going brittle and splitting or shattering? It cures best laid out on racks for several months in a relatively cool, shady, dry, covered place with plenty of fresh air circulation at all times.

This website has some good information about methods for curing bamboo: Preservation of Bamboo

^^^ This is correct info. Propane heating will pull all the moisture out too fast and split and warp the bamboo.
