I have 2nd story flower boxes on my home. I planted flowers in them however, I have 2 pieces of very large furniture in front of windows that have the flower boxes so it is hard to move the furniture very time I need to water. I would like to water from the ground using some sort of long shower wand that reaches the flower boxes. Is there such a thing? Any suggestions?

I Googled "long handled watering wand," and then looked at image view and found a gutter cleaning wand that looks perfect, as it has a hooked end:

Amazon.com : Orbit 58996 Telescoping Wand with Gutter Cleaner for Garden : Watering Wands : Patio, Lawn & Garden

That item is great, if it's long enough to reach. I propose a couple of solutions. One is to move the furniture one time, and install drip irrigation system, on a timer, then forget about it and they will get watered automatically. You will have to climb a ladder to run the 1/4" tubing up the side of the house from the nearest faucet.

Second idea, buy the amazon wand, but add to it an extension that you make with a 10' length of PVC pipe. You can get male and female hose thread fittings that can be glued onto the ends of the pipe, giving you as much length as you need to reach the planters from the ground.
