Growing Yellow Moss? (species)

Hello all,

I was wondering if it were possible to grow yellow moss? Basic research seems to be throwing me all over the place from some lichens varying in color based on certain conditions to others suggesting it is a different species [or maybe it's both]. I have had success growing moss in vivariums, so I am hoping it is the latter.

Would anyone be able to help clarify. Any information is much appreciated.
