The vine is located in the farthest reaches of Northern Iraq, just near southeastern Turkey (so it must be native to that region and as well as most of Europe, I take it). It is trailing on a rocky waterfall. My first impression was
Araujia sericifera (aka 'cruel vine'), but I doubt it will be found there as its range is mostly in eastern Australia. But who knows...
