The photinia are going bonkers this year. All of the bushes up and down the neighborhood are loaded with flowers--I've never seen them flower even remotely this much, and I've never seen growth like this. The bush in our side yard shot up and is almost 14 feet tall!
Does this mean we will have little baby photinias all over the place? (I'd love to have this happen--any thoughts on what I can do to encourage it?)
More than likely you will not become a parent and have little babies. You'll see many berry's set and the birds will eat them.

If you can collect the seeds prior to the birds getting them, you might be able to store them over the winter outside so they can be planted in the spring. It's really hard to get them to seed themselves.
