i was given a craftsman lt1000/ model 917-271635 /42 " deck/ 12 gauge deck/ 16 1/2 Briggs & Stratton. it looks like deck wheels can be put on, as it doesnt mow correctly, she said they adjusted and rechecked adjustments for the deck. Never mowed evenly. Im not sure what deck wheels to order as it doesnt seem to come with this model. Also read about nose roller kit. Help....Please ...Any information is greatly appreciated ! Thanks Constance
Many light duty lawn tractors never came with deck wheels, or front rollers. The deck just hangs from the bottom of the tractor. I can't imagine where you are seeing that deck wheels are able to be mounted to yours and still have adjust-ability. But if you would like to add these features, here's what I would do. First find a lawn tractor being sold with these options, and take photos of the setup. Then order the rear wheels, and front roller for that tractor. Take the pics, and wheels to a welder/fabricator, and have them make the mounts for your specific deck. Shouldn't be too difficult.
