We have what look like ants ...small midsection and smaller mosaic type wings(smaller then the body) coming in our bathroom at random times during the day.
I don't think they are termites but I do have someone coming out to give me a free inspection regardless.
They've only started coming in the last few weeks. I tried ant traps, vinegar and water and every other trick and they keep coming back.
We are in the Tampa area, surrounded by huge trees and lakes.
Anyone know what they are or have you had a problem w/ them. They don't bit and dont live long but I'm sick of cleaning them up and don't know if they are doing damage.
Sorry but it does sound a lot like termites. They only fly at certain times of the year and although don't seem to live long they lose their wings and burrow into the wood. There is often a lot of clean-up with them. I'm sure the person coming out will let you know for sure! Good luck.
