Oh man want my address? I'd be putting up lemon curd until I had no more jars to fill!

I pulled up two beds yesterday. I got about a laundry basket of green tomatoes, three red ones, habaneros, chiles, and an eggplant. I got hardly any tomatoes all season but now I've got a glut. The only problem is they weren't ripening fast at all. We were expecting a freeze last night and I didn't want to mess with covering everything so I picked them.

Rocks and hunks of ice. The strawberries are all moved as of today. They are covered well in new fresh straw and bedded down with dead saplings, so the straw won't blow off before snow.

In the morning a man with a 5 foot long tiller will come and till up the entire garden almost. Where he can't get i will use my own pony tiller. Anyone want free rocks? These are genuine NH rocks all for free

I'd love your rocks but you live too far away.

The rest of the Fall rocks have been harvested. The garden is fresh tilled, not a foot print in it. 2 larged compost heaps are filled to the max. One is housing 1,000+ earth worms deep in the thick layers of insulating worm fodder, and inside there is warm. The last of the compost I can get was gathered today in the dump truck and it was warn too, and smelled of mint for some reason I don't know. It consisted of a neighbors lawn grass, beech, birch, oak and maple leaves.

Both piles are over 6 feet tall right now. When the greenery breaks down I expect them to be around 4 feet tall. Maybe a bit over 6 cubic yards each once all is said and done, and good soil for next years season.

We picked green onions and parsley. I am surprised they are still going strong.
