hey all!

I have a young meyers lemon tree. I didn't touch it the first year as it was newly planted and a baby. This past season I got 25-30 lemons(huge softball size ones) and think its almost time to cut it back so it grows up rather then out. here is my ? It has two mains that are almost exactly alike in size. ...which one do I go with? maybe I should post a pic?

Thanks

That's great. I don't know about pruning them , I'm not that familiar with them. I bought a meyers lemon tree a couple of months ago at the flea market and right now it is about 2 feet high. It survived numerous hard freezes here in Central FL and looks like it's going to be all right.

I can't wait till it produces some lemons and like you said I'm not doing anything to it the first year.

they hold up well. I'm still unsure of which main to go with. I know all plants have a main main and usually you stick with that but this guy is doing a perfect y. I'm gonna wait a little until this cold is gone for sure. best of luck with yours.
