This is the first time I have seen these and thought I'd give them a try. they come in a little 12X12 tray with a clear plastic cover and have 12 little round 1 1/2 inch by 3/4 inch pods in it. The directions say to add 11 cups of water. I added three and then went to clear a space for them by the lamp, when I returned to get them, the pods had grown to 3 inches tall. I went ahead and added the rest of the 11 cups and the pods soaked up all the water. I have planted cherry tomato's, green peppers, cukes and squash. I figured the tomato's and green peppers could continue to grow in the house if need be. weather is nice here, but started getting colder today.

Just wondered if anyone had any luck with the little green houses.

I bought them at the weekend too, but haven't used them yet. I can say however that they are 50% less in Walmart than in Home Despot

I have used them to germinate veggies in the past very successfully. I kept the little greenhouse in our oven which was warm all the time due to the gas pilot. They germinated within about 1-2 days. I transfered the plants to the garden when they were a few inches tall.

I am using one right now with a propagation mat. It is doing a nice job. My tomatoes, eggplant, and marigolds are already transplanted into peat pots and are getting to be a good size.
