Could you please help me identify these 2 plants?

First is a ornamental grass.

the second is a flowering tree, maybe a japanese cherry?

Pampas grass and flowering crabapple?

pampas grass & ornamental plum tree? But it seems a bit early for plum trees to be blooming.

I think the grass is some kind of miscanthus. Pampas tends to have bushier plumes. I'd assume the tree is a flowering crabapple. I know of a blogger that has one blooming in Idaho right now.
