I finished a multivolume set of my family's genealogy. Took me 50 years. Its everybody with my family name.
I could accomplish it because my last name is unusual.

Today, most people of this generation don't care a "wit" about their family history.

But, there seems to be in every family, one person who wants to dive into it.

I am retired now, but I developed skills when I worked which greatly aided in my searches.

I am willing to help others with the "how" of research but not conducting research.

If you stick to America, there is no reason to be stuck based on the multiple over-lapping sources to look into.

If there is any endeavor for thinking outside the box this is it.

Congrats on doing your tree. Have you done DNA yet to make sure that everyone's father was actually their biological father, or even that they share blood at all and were not adopted and lied to? You'd be surprised how common people finding they're not 100% full siblings with siblings they were raised with.

If you haven't done DNA, Ancestry has the largest DNA testing database.

You really should verify it with DNA and not only records.
