I am cosigning for my daughter to rent an apartment.

There are ZERO issues on either end. Credit check, criminal background chec, employment verification, etc etc etc. Everything was good enough they waived the deposit.

The company is demanding that I physcially go to the rental office to sign the lease - which for me means taking a day off work and driving all day.

How can I do major financial transactions, including selling two homes, with a notary and fed ex but can't sign a simple lease that way?

Thanks for the idea of an affiliate near me.

I still think that a notary and fed ex should more than suffice but they have another complex in my town and I have made arrangements to do it there.
