If anyone cares, I made it to LA safely and in one piece! Left at about 1 pm, arrived at 8. Traffic wasn't bad at all. A few bigrigs but they were courteous and I had the road to myself most of the time.

Anyways thanks again to everyone for replying!

Last year I drove from Watkins Glen, NY to Aiken, SC. I arrived home at 430 am. Best part of the drive? In the dark, late at night with all the truckers. They were so much easier to watch than the crazies on their cell phones putting on makeup playing with the radio. Look ma no hands! Yeah saw lots of them. Made me wonder how they ever got a license. Only saw one deer and she was in Charlotte, NC which was humorous since it's a large city and I didn't see a single one in the mountains along the way.
