Hi, I currently live in a small community in Southern Minnesota. I'm planning on moving in the spring. The thing is, I don't have a clue as to where I want to move. I want to stay midwest or go northeast. I used to live in Arizona and don't like the heat. I love the seasons that happen here and yes even the snow. I like the smaller communities but don't have a clue in regards to cost of living, jobs etc. Who lives somewhere that they just love? Can you sell me on your area? Do you have suggestions on how to figure all of this out?

Charlotte! Move to the Carolinas, It's beautiful, sunny, diverse, did I mention sunny? People from everywhere, affordable housing, the only airport that can reach 75% of the country in a couple of hours, whitewater park, football, basketball, children theaters, performing arts, one of the few performing real estate markets in the country, very nice people, beautiful neighborhoods, no salt on your car, mountains 1.5 hours west, beach 2 hours east, around 70 degrees on new years eve (since I've been here) low taxes, pet friendly, early spring, late summer, great business community, and on more top city to live in lists than I can keep track of!

Thank you for the reply...you make it sound great. Perhaps I should have mentioned that I actually really love the winters here in Minnesota. I Love the snow and grey days make me happy. I know, I'm confused. A lot of the reason I left Arizona was because of the heat. I really have had enough sun for a very long time. I actually love where I live, so I guess I'm looking for somewhere like here. Small community etc. I love the mountains though and there aren't any here, and pet friendly is important as I have the cutest doggy in the world. (okay, perhaps I'm a little bias on that)
