Alright you guys so Ive been living with my parents for about a month now and we discussed that I should move back in with them to save money so I can move back out and actually have my own apartment.

I live in a house with my sister, her boyfriend, his cousin, and my sisters 2 kids and myself. Everything is drama drama drama over there, and my agreement to live up to February is coming up!

Anyways my question is this
In the state of Georgia is it against the law for me to go over a house that I used to live at and to get my stuff? if I just today walk in the house and get my stuff when my roommates are still there? Is that against the law if I didnt pay rent?

I dont think I should pay rent when my roommates are buying game systems and shoes and clothes but cant pay the bills.

I over heard my sister saying that and I tried to look for the law but I didn't see it! The reason I wanted to look it up is because what my sister said sounded like the most stupidest thing Ive ever heard.

#1: Do you have issues with your former room mates? If not just call them and say you are dropping by to pick up "my stuff".

#2" There is more to your story than you care to reveal!

Best thing you can do is go get a sheriff to escort you over to the house to get the rest of your stuff , that way everyone stays civil and you can get your stuff and have a legal witness that you did not do any damage etc ...better to be cautious and take care of things instead of just doing stuff yourself . Good luck.

If you moved out and stopped paying rent a month ago, your stuff is gone by now.
