Hi, thanks for asking! It's been busy, but going OK, I think (I may think differently when it comes even closer to time and I still have too much stuff left, though!). I've been selling furniture, and most of it's gone or spoken for...and I found a few things to sell on ebay for a little money.
I also took the advice here about papers and dumped bags of them in recycling...I realized there is very little I'm going to look back on. I'm still keeping critiques of the main manuscript I'm working on...and I haven't gotten very far with the photos. My scanner isn't that great.
As for the cat, I bought a new, bigger carrier and harness...haven't tried the harness yet, but I'm sure she'll love it.
I got some kitty Xanax from my vet and tested her with half a pill...she calmed down even when there were strangers in the house, which usually makes her crazy with anxiety.
I'm still somewhat nervous...also about moving to an apartment sight unseen, although I picked it for the location, which I've visited and loved. But the feedback here has really helped, so thank you all! Less than 2 weeks to go, so time to get back to cleaning.
