I can walk there... maybe 2 miles from my house? If even that far. We moved back last year. But it's temporary. Don't put the coffee on, folks! We're not stayin'!
Born in Virginia, parents moved to Illinois when I was two (about 900 miles), moved back to Virginia for five years in my twenties, lived in Iowa, North Carolina and Connecticut in between, have been back in Illinois since 1988, probably will end up moving back to North Carolina or South Carolina next year.
17 miles. I was born in a suburb of Des Moines and currently live in a suburb of Des Moines after living 24 years elsewhere. The hospital I was born in is probably about halfway between where I was born and where I live now. It's not technically the same city, but I voted for the same city option since it's the same metropolitan area.
I live in the same province, 6.5 hrs away. Around 300 miles between my hometown and current city, with a 1.5hr ferry ride across the Pacific.
