I'm trying to map out my route (have taken it many, many times before), and i've just realized (duh) that i now have a truck and trucks are not allowed on some of the roads i usually take.
Are there any sites that people know of (or has anyone made this trip?) that let you plan your route with a truck in mind. I have been searching.
It looks like i will take 95N, but the route it maps out for me has me on a "parkway" for 1.72 miles. Parkways do not allow trucks.
That what i thought. Can you get to 287 from the NJ Turnpike? Then just follow the directions?
Quick answer = yes. Either use the shortcut (NJ-18) shown in the map in my response in the Travel forum, or use the mixmaster interchange of I-95 (NJT) & I-287 at little farther north near Metuchen, shown here:
