I did before, but it was not something I was too interested in as many of them had recommended call-center jobs that did not cover enough for my living costs. Though then again Sheer, I should also note that I am moving in Aug-Nov. of this year, so I am primarily focusing on growing my market value by taking difficult tasks and projects at work and learning new skills that way in which I could mention in my resume. I have also done some due-diligence and researched some Administration roles and the responsibilities it entails on Indeed.com after I got that list of skills/duties required I use my weekend time to go into depth and learn how to apply those skills at my workplace. So when I apply later this year I'll have the skills necessary to earn that higher paying roll if that makes sense?

I didn't mean apply to them *right now* but once you're ready to move. I certainly didn't mean call center jobs, but jobs that are more up your alley.

Once you have the address of where you'll be staying, put the address on your resume so that employers know you're local. If it's an AirBNB, let the host know so that any mail to you doesn't get thrown out. Employers deal with flaky applicants. "Plans to move," especially from a young person looking to move to a beautiful and expensive place where they have no connections, probably don't count for much with them.

Ah yes, very true. Whenever I tell an employer that I work as an ISM (Information Systems Manager) they double check my resume haha, they see the young age and it steers them away sometimes but I am also not one to really give up either!

But referring to what you said, in terms of the address for applications, I was not going to include that on the resume that I am in MI. However, for the sake of transparency, I did mention my intent on moving and reinforced the idea several times that I am in fact moving and threw in some date details so the employer is aware that I am not just an employee that plans on falling out the first 6 months and then leaving. Of course, there's still more revision to be made as I do keep current on my resume and cover letter and update it bi-weekly with new projects or skills I am working on attaining.

Don't put your age on your resume. It isn't done.

Do put your address on there. No address looks fishy. With no address, you could be living in your car or looking to move from 7000 miles away, neither of which employers want to deal with.

Is there a career center in your city or county, or a professional organization, where you could get some advice on putting together a resume?

Yes, actually I used a professional organization to put together my resume, and then I went ahead and updated it in accordance with new things I am capable of doing. Though before submitting it I do want to get a second pair of eyes again to glance over anything that could be revised!

Put Bellevue, WA on your list of places to apply for work. It's a well-rated city for many things including starting a business. Rents are not quite as expensive as other places you have named.

Have you been there? What would you say it was like if so?
