I am hoping to convince my parents that moving to a new place is the best for me and my sibling. I am not in a very good school and soon he will be going to the same one. My father has a very low paying job, and I'm hoping he would have a better opprotunity some where else. My mother has a stable job and is doing well. My father is happy of where we are but my mother doesn't like it. I almost convinced my mom to move but my father ended that idea. We would hopefully move to a different country to be nearer to family. Does anyone have any idea of how to make my dad see reality?

Move to another country - ? Not sure if I'd want to uproot and move that drastically if Im settled and relatively happy where I am - unless there was a definite stable well-paying job and good housing prospects. Moving is a huge undertaking and is very expensive too. In the meantime, would think about getting more involved w/ school and extracurricular activities and clubs etc that may be interesting and help improve your grades

Best wishes -

PS You could always make a list of positives and negatives (staying and going) - be realistic and look at it from your parents' perspective and not just your own (which prob. is different) - there's always 2 sides to a coin, sometimes the grass seems greener but it's really not - jmo.

You're not going to convince them to leave.
