The move would be from Phoenix to the Midwest or South. I only have 3 big pieces of furniture (Bed/head board, Couch, and dresser with mirror) the rest of the things can easily be packed or thrown away. Does anyone have an estimated price for a move of this size and single person ? I don't know if I would use Uhaul to drive and pack or another moving service.

Check truck or trailer capacity guidance from rental companies like UHaul. They have estimators on their websites. Then plug in the moving distance and gas mileage of the truck or your tow car to get an idea of the total DIY cost.

Yes many moving companies have a price estimator online. It may be cheaper to just buy new in your new destination. Plus the new furniture would fit your new apartment.
Unless these are really expensive pieces of furniture, I’d sell and buy new furniture after you move. You can get new furniture for the price it’ll take you to haul it across the country.
It might be easier in the long run to sell your furniture and replace it at our destination.
This is almost always the case when not moving a family. I did this 3 different times over the past decade.
