I am always hopeful that 'Balance' can be found.
The intense animosity that exists across the nation and the world concerns me.

Hopefully so, but sadly this Iraq Fiasco has been a giant leap backwards for America. We will have a "Black Eye" for a long time to come. For the past 5 years our government has not accomplished anything. America is deperate for strong leadership in Washington. We need to get trade in balance, universal health care, immigration control, greater investment in Infrastructure, total elimination of segregation, our dependance on oil, our national debt down. We need better funding for education, a re-vamp of our military, better incentives for small businesses. Family values need to be re-discovered. We need to focus more on those less fortunate than ourselves, and less on materialism. And above all, we need to focus on diplomacy with other nations in the future, as opposed to the "Knee Jerk" reaction of war as the only course of action. In summation, the new century could indeed bring good things for America. Time shall tell. As of right now it sure seems as if a lot is "Broken" and needs a fixin!!
